Dan Cohan

Environmental decision-makers rely on air quality models to predict the impacts of control strategies, but the uncertainty of those models is often neglected. The Cohan Research Group is developing new approaches for characterizing these uncertainties and assessing the likelihood that air quality improvement targets will actually be achieved. We are also using satellite and other measurements to investigate how the atmosphere has responded to recent control efforts, to enable better prediction of future trends.

Dr. Cohan's research can be found on his website.
